Archicamp program
What is archicamp?
“archicamp” is an intensive program designed for high school students considering a career in architecture. The program will enable the students to explore the principles of architecture through lectures, workshops, and field trips. The program is aimed at preparing young students for the exciting world of architecture.
Guest lecturers with diverse backgrounds and a field trip to one of the most prestigious architecture firms in Kuwait will expose the students to both the academic and the professional sides of architecture. A hands-on experience with the professionals will maximize their benefits from the program.
Basic skills such as sketching/ drafting, model making, creative thinking, and problem solving will introduce the students to the process and methodology of design, which will then lead to a comprehensive architectural design project that will serve the community.
The program concludes with a professional presentation of the students’ final project, an exhibition of their work, and a reception for the students’ families and friends.
“archicamp” is an exciting program for aspiring architects who wish to pursue a career in the field. It is the perfect program for them to participate in before they start their college life.
